Family questions
Straight answers about non-medical home care with Lake Erie Home Agency.
What kind of help do you provide?
Non-medical home care: bathing, hygiene care, dressing, help with transfers and walking, meal preparation and feeding, laundry, grocery shopping and errands. Call or text to talk through your situation.
Do you provide nursing or medical care?
The services on this site are non-medical personal care and home help. If skilled nursing or therapy is needed, ask us and we will tell you what we can and cannot do.
How do we get started?
Call (216) 200-8004 or text (216) 200-8220. Tell us who needs help, where they live, and which tasks and times matter most.
How is home care paid for?
Call or text and we will talk it through. For people 60 and older who qualify, Ohio Medicaid's PASSPORT program pays approved providers for in-home help; our guide explains who qualifies.
Are caregivers background checked?
Ohio law (Revised Code 3740.11) bars home health agencies from employing anyone in a direct-care role who fails the required database reviews and criminal records check.
Which areas do you serve?
Cleveland and its suburbs, from Lakewood and Parma to Shaker Heights, Beachwood, Solon, Euclid and Lake County. See our Areas page or call or text with your city.
Can I text instead of calling?
Yes. Text (216) 200-8220. Please keep health details out of texts; we will cover those by phone.
Still have a question?
Call or text and tell us what kind of help is needed and when. Please keep health details out of email and text.
